NATIONAL DIRECTOR

Len trusted Christ as his personal saviour in his early teens. His desire to serve in the local church provided him with a number of roles over the years including Sunday school teacher, treasurer, ushering and on a number of ministry teams including the Global Impact Team. Len and his wife Pam served as missionaries/Regional Directors with Awana for over 14 years and managed a collision repair shop for 10 years. Most recently, Len has started and runs his own renovation and construction business. Len and his wife Pam, live in Steinbach, Manitoba, and have three children and four grandchildren.

BOARD MEMBER & PRAYER MINISTRY INTERCESSOR

Laurel has been married for over 30 years, and has an adult son and daughter. She is not yet a grandparent, but has a heart for family ministry. As a young parent, she responded to God’s call on her life to be an intercessor. In 2018 she was surprised and humbled to receive an invitation to participate, through prayer, in preparing the way for a Grandparenting Ministry in Canada.

BOARD MEMBER

Bob and Denise married in 2012 and live in Surrey, B.C. They are a blended family and together have five married children and eleven grandchildren.

Their greatest joy is spending time with their grandchildren, and influencing them with spiritual principles and values. Bob is on the Legacy board.

Ed is a board member and treasurer for LCC and Alice also volunteers with LCC.

Ed and Alice have been married for over 40 years and have three daughters, three sons-in-law, and seven beautiful grandchildren. Their grandchildren love coming to Grandma and Granddad’s house for visits and they enjoy helping take their grandkids to activities.

Brian Mackie is a board member with LCC. The Lord has given Brian and Liz a vision to reach out to other grandparents to encourage them and equip them in the challenges they navigate in the current culture. Their aim is to give their grandchildren a biblical perspective of the world.

The greatest joy in their lives are their five grandchildren. They enjoy talking with them about the different attributes of God. They pray daily that God will reveal to them and their parents His unshakeable truths.
